What is Organic Traffic?

Organic traffic refers to visitors who arrive at your site from unpaid search results. In other words, it is the search traffic you did not pay for.

Search engine results pages (SERPs) contain two types of results:

  • Organic results
  • Inorganic results

Inorganic results are the advertisements displayed on the search results page. They are displayed at the top of the page and are often marked ‘Sponsored.’ They are also called paid results.
