What is Guest Blogging?
Guest blogging, also known as guest posting, is the practice of publishing content on a website belonging to another person or business. Guest posts typically include a short bio of the guest author at the bottom of the article, to indicate the article is a guest post.
Guest blogging is done with the intent of providing high-quality content for the other site. In exchange, you generate awareness for your brand, and you get a link pointing back to your site.
While guest blogging is a white hat SEO technique, Google can consider it a black hat link scheme if it’s primarily created to build links or created using black hat SEO techniques like keyword stuffing. Google also considers duplicate, low-quality, and thin content guest posts as web spam.
