What are LSI Keywords?
LSI keywords, or Latent Semantic Indexing keywords, are words and phrases related to the focus keyword on a webpage.
LSI keywords are not synonyms. Instead, they are words that you’d expect to use when talking about something.
For example, if you’re talking about yoga, you’ll usually include words like meditation, stress, and poses. Similarly, an article about cars will include terms like road, tires, and transmission. These are LSI keywords.
Search engines use LSI keywords to better understand the context in which the focus keyword is used. It also gives them a better understanding of the overall content on the webpage.
