What is a Reconsideration Request?
A reconsideration request is an appeal you send to Google after getting hit by a manual action or security issue notification.
Once you’ve fixed the cause of the manual action or security issue, you’ll send the request through Google Search Console.
When you send Google a reconsideration request, a human reviewer will review your site and decide whether you have rectified the issue. If you have done so, the penalty will be lifted, and your site will be allowed to rank in search results.
