What is Dwell Time?
Unter Verweildauer versteht man die Gesamtzeit, die ein Besucher auf einer Webseite verbringt, bevor er zur Ergebnisseite der Suchmaschine zurückkehrt.
A high dwell time indicates that the content was helpful to the visitor, while a low dwell time suggests that the content was not helpful.
Google does not consider the dwell time as a ranking factor, but results on page one of Google often have a high dwell time. However, it appears that Bing may consider dwell time a ranking factor.
