What are Meta Tags?
Meta tags are HTML tags used to specify additional details about a webpage. They are declared using the HTML meta tag <meta>.
Meta tags are included inside the webpage’s head tag <head>. Therefore, they only appear in the source code and are not visible on the front end.
The Open Graph and structured webpage data are usually specified using meta tags. For example, the Schema meta tag below specifies the SEO meta description of a webpage.
