What is a Transactional Query?
A transactional query is a search query used by searchers looking to complete a transaction or purchase an item but yet to decide where to get the item from.
Transactional search queries typically include the name of the desired product along with keywords like buy, purchase, used, cheap, or discount. Search engines usually return product pages in response to transactional queries. For example, this is what the Google search results page looks like when we enter “buy yoga mats.”
Transactional queries are usually highly competitive. However, they’re a great traffic source for bloggers and business owners looking for an audience ready to buy.
