If you haven&#8217;t already created and verified your website property in the Google Search console, then Rank Math would get this done for you automatically, and you should be able to see your website listed under the Site drop-down list in the <strong>Console di ricerca<\/strong> section. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Under the Site drop-down list, you can notice URL properties as well as domain properties (includes a prefix <code>sc-domain:<\/code>) connected with your Google Search Console account. We recommend you to choose the corresponding URL property for a smooth Analytics experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now, select your <strong>Site<\/strong> e <strong>Country<\/strong> from the drop-down lists. Click on the<strong> Save Changes<\/strong> button once you have made the changes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1524\" height=\"514\" src=\"https:\/\/rankmath.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/search-console-2.jpg\" alt=\"Console di ricerca\" class=\"wp-image-1165062\" style=\"width:900px;height:undefinedpx\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"takeaway yellow\"><strong>Nota:<\/strong> The option to choose Country is available only in Rank Math <a href=\"https:\/\/rankmath.com\/it\/pricing\/\" class=\"pro-badge\" target=\"_blank\" style=\"vertical-align:\" title=\"Rank Math Premium Plan\"><span class=\"label\">PRO<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"connect-analytics\"><span class=\"number\">4<\/span>  Connect Google Analytics With Rank Math<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>To connect Rank Math to Google Analytics 4, navigate to<strong> Rank Math SEO \u2192 General Settings \u2192 Analytics.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From the <strong>Analytics section<\/strong> here, you can select your <strong>Account<\/strong> and then select your Google Analytics 4 property, from the <strong>Property<\/strong> dropdown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"takeaway yellow\"><strong>Nota: <\/strong>All Google Analytics 4 properties include a prefix <code>-GA4<\/code>, so you can easily identify them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In case, you don&#8217;t have any GA4 property, you can also create one with Rank Math. Under the Property dropdown, choose the <strong>Create new GA4 property<\/strong> option.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/rankmath.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Create-new-GA4-property-1.png\" alt=\"Create new GA4 property\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>In the confirmation prompt that appears on the screen, choose <strong>OK<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/rankmath.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Prompt-to-create-new-GA4-property.png\" alt=\"Create new GA4 property prompt\" style=\"width:900px;height:undefinedpx\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>And in a few moments, the newly created GA4 property would be selected automatically.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Then, select the <strong>Sito web<\/strong> (Data Stream for Google Analytics 4). You can notice the default <strong>Country<\/strong> is chosen as Worldwide, but you can always change it and choose the <strong>Country<\/strong> as per your choice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"takeaway yellow\"><strong>Nota:<\/strong> The option to choose Country is available only in the PRO version of Rank Math. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1494\" height=\"810\" src=\"https:\/\/rankmath.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/analytics-2.jpg\" alt=\"Choose web data stream and country\" class=\"wp-image-1090582\" style=\"width:900px;height:undefinedpx\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>You can enable the<strong>&nbsp;Install analytics code<\/strong>&nbsp;option if you do not use any other plugin or theme to install the Google Analytics code. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"960\" height=\"358\" src=\"https:\/\/rankmath.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Install-analytics-code.png\" alt=\"Install Analytics code\" class=\"wp-image-1048709\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>You can then enable the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/rankmath.com\/kb\/anonymize-ip-addresses-google-analytics\/\">Rendi anonimi gli indirizzi IP<\/a>,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/rankmath.com\/kb\/host-google-analytics-locally\/\">Self-Hosted Analytics JS File<\/a>, e&nbsp;<strong>Exclude Logged-in users<\/strong>&nbsp;option.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once you have done the above-mentioned steps, click on the<strong> Save Changes<\/strong> pulsante.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"takeaway yellow\"><strong>Nota: <\/strong>Once the&nbsp;<strong>Save Changes<\/strong>&nbsp;button is clicked, the properties fetched from the Google account, apart from the selected one, will be removed. So if you need to change them, you\u2019ll need to reconnect.<br><br>If your Google Analytics 4 settings disappear after you click the <strong>Save Changes<\/strong> button, consider switching to Google Chrome or another Chromium-based browser.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/rankmath.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/Save-Changes.jpg\" alt=\"Salvare le modifiche\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"connect-google-adsense\"><span class=\"number\">5<\/span>  Connect Google AdSense With Rank Math<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>To connect Rank Math to your AdSense account, go to<strong> Rank Math SEO \u2192 General Settings \u2192 Analytics.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the <strong>AdSense section<\/strong>, select your AdSense Account from the drop-down list. Click on the<strong> Save Changes<\/strong> button once you have made the necessary changes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1352\" height=\"412\" src=\"https:\/\/rankmath.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/adsense-account.jpg\" alt=\"Connect Adsense Account\" class=\"wp-image-754061\" style=\"width:900px;height:undefinedpx\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Once you\u2019ve connected and configured the Analytics settings, Rank Math will start fetching the data. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can check the connections between Rank Math and your Google account if you notice any delays in retrieving Analytics data. To do so, click the&nbsp;<strong>Test Connections&nbsp;<\/strong>option located at the top right corner of the Analytics settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"2096\" height=\"985\" src=\"https:\/\/rankmath.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/test-connections-option.jpg\" alt=\"Test Connections option\" class=\"wp-image-1165064\" style=\"width:900px;height:undefinedpx\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Once you click the option, Rank Math will start to validate the existing connections. A <strong>verde<\/strong> signal indicates a valid connection. And a <strong>red<\/strong> signal indicates a problem in the corresponding connection, as shown below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1494\" height=\"382\" src=\"https:\/\/rankmath.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/adsense-connectivity.jpg\" alt=\"Adsense connectivity issue\" class=\"wp-image-1165061\" style=\"width:900px;height:undefinedpx\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>To fix this, simply reconnect with your Google account by clicking the <strong>Reconnect<\/strong> option located at the top right of the Analytics settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"analytics-database\"><span class=\"number\">6<\/span>  Analytics Database<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You can choose the number of days you want to keep your Analytics data in your database. The maximum number of days allowed in the Free version is 90, while the maximum allowed days in the PRO version is 180 days. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you have a Business or Agency license, there is no limit to the number of days allowed, and you can retain your data for as long as you want.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1496\" height=\"504\" src=\"https:\/\/rankmath.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/analytics-databse.jpg\" alt=\"Analytics Database\" class=\"wp-image-754064\" style=\"width:900px;height:undefinedpx\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"delete-data\"><span class=\"number\">6.1<\/span>  Delete Data<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In case if you find any issues with the existing analytics data, then you can choose to Delete the data by clicking on the<strong> Delete Data<\/strong> option. Deleting the data won&#8217;t cause any issue on your end since they are just analytics data. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"takeaway\"><strong>Nota:<\/strong> If you wish to completely remove the data and stop storing further data from Google on your website, then you should also disable the Analytics module in addition to deleting the analytics data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"update-data-manually\"><span class=\"number\">6.2<\/span>  Update Data Manually<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>You can also update your data manually by clicking on<strong> Update data manually. <\/strong>If you have chosen to retain 90 days of data in your Analytics database, your data will be imported in 17 minutes. This can be done by toggling on\/off the <strong>Monitor SEO Performance<\/strong> option available under <strong>WordPress Dashboard \u2192 Rank Math SEO \u2192<\/strong> <strong>General Settings \u2192 Analytics<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1526\" height=\"300\" src=\"https:\/\/rankmath.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/monitor-seo-performance.jpg\" alt=\"Monitor SEO Performance\" class=\"wp-image-754071\" style=\"width:900px;height:undefinedpx\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>PRO users might not be able to change the setting for individual sites.
